Old friends, old haunts, old goals. There’s a revival feeling to this week’s full Moon in Aquarius as it appears opposite retrograde Mercury in Leo (19th).
It’s a wonderful Moon to reconnect with people you’ve not seen in a while. To revisit those locations which you associate with good times – and to make new memories by doing so. And to recapture why you wanted what you wanted in the past and realise it’s still relevant.
Is there something that symbolizes or holds the essence of what that was or still is? Yes, sometimes we need to get rid of reminders of the past, which represent who we once thought we were. But there are other times – such as under this full Moon- when we may discover that retro item we’ve been holding on to is a talisman for creating our future and is still relevant. Or else we stumble upon something new that represents an updated version of our old self or goal (if so, you have permission to buy it despite the retrograde!). What matters is the emotions it rekindles within you.
Yes, there’s a retro summer of love feel to all this. This is a revival where you can rock your unique and individual way. One that is meaningful to you. No fear. The day of the full Moon has all of us looking at what allows us to express ourselves and what restricts us. Fearless truth-telling around this could emerge. Even if it’s just carried on in our own internal dialogue. But we should all watch for someone crossing our path unafraid to rock theirs. If so, ask yourself what separates them from you?
Happy birthday to all the devoted Virgos out there. The Sun arrives in your sign on the 22nd. With Vesta following on the 25th. There’s a big movement out there to make Vesta your ruler. For now, take it as your bonus one. Your eternal flame is reignited ahead of your new cycle. You know to ease yourself into this slowly as you wait for your main ruler, Mercury, to end its retrograde. Take it between the Sun’s arrival and your ruler clearing its retro shadow. next month, you’re going to make a fabulous discovery that will change your sense of self or set you on a new path. Or quite possibly both. And you’ll burn brighter as you do it, Virgo.
