 Future foundations are laid
 Large scale events or news could have a big effect
 Preparation for soul growth begins

Whether we have laid the foundations for our future growth or not is now going to become apparent this week. We have massive planetary activity happening all of which is designed to prepare us for the Grand Soul Alignment of next month. For now, the 12th brings one of the most solid aspects we can hope to see in the sky – a Trapeze. It has planets in two fixed signs (Leo and Scorpio), Saturn the master-builder of foundations and structures in Scorpio and also Pluto in Saturn’s ruling sign of Capricorn (and Pluto rules Scorpio don’t forget). Pluto and Saturn are in what we astrologers call ‘mutual reception’ as they sit within each other’s ruling signs. However – unpredictable Uranus presently in Aries is caught up in this otherwise stable alignment. What is this saying to us on a soul and collective level? If we’ve neglected to lay the right foundations or if something is defective and needs to come down now – it well and truly will collapse. Look to what gets shaken and survives and what comes down like a pack of cards. The first will endure even if it gets rattled and the tiles fall off, while the latter was built on shaky ground to begin with. However, this influence also offers the opportunity to create something lasting that sustains and ‘sustainability’ may be a word that crops up frequently this week.

Chiron turns retrograde in Pisces on the 15th which is just one of many significant events taking place in the sky on this day. Chiron represents the wounded healer – the ability to heal ourselves of our ‘soul wounds’ – and believe me we all have them both individually and as a collective. It’s no coincidence that Jupiter and the Sun meet for the final time in Gemini on this day too. We could be in for large scale events and news which has a big impact on us whether we are involved in what’s going on or not. Through these events in the collective, we are given an opportunity to examine where we may be wounded and to heal this once and for all.

The highly charged elements of the 15th align to form what is a five-sided diamond aspect ahead of next month’s truly magical Star of David. It’s giving us a preview of what is to come and an opportunity if you like to get used to the different energy that’s going to be flowing without becoming overwhelmed by it. It’s a soul-call to utilise our voices and our individuality and through this we may experience a sense of connection we’ve never had before. The idea that we’re not alone on a cosmic, soul level and to experience this connection, is part of our spiritual purpose now.
