- How are you going to cope?
- What areas of your life need change or restructure?
- Where are you willing to compromise?
This is a very interesting week coming up for the collective. It begins with Mercury entering Aries on the 7th which is about decisiveness, assessing problems in a straight forward way and not suffering fools gladly. As part of a strong stellium in Aries pushing you along now, you may come to an unexpected conclusion or way to discuss an issue that needs addressing.
When Mars is in retrograde it is a time to reflect on impulses (or impulse control!), as well as what makes you angry, particularly in dealing with people and relationships as he sits in the sign of relationships – Libra. Buttons may get pushed as part of this. You cannot afford to ignore this or put it to the back of your mind where it can fester but at the same time it’s important not to resort to a knee-jerk reaction. Around the 8th more issues may come to light when the Sun will be in direct opposition to Mars or unexpected revelations that have been teasing you since mid-March are now revealed for more than just something nagging at your intuition. This could all come to a head around the 10th when the Sun joins Eris who dishes out fate and Juno who rules commitments. Bear in mind that often events we think of as ‘fate’ have their roots in our own actions and ones we took some time ago. Fate is when the results catch up with us. It’s a basic tenet of physics that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction at least on a quantum level and this rule applies to our lives too. Eris has a karmic feel as she does administer rough justice. The judicial system may be under scrutiny in terms of inequality as fairness verses justice could be questioned and sometimes following the letter of the law does not result in either.
Relationships could be under review on the 11th when Venus and Neptune make an exact conjunction in Pisces. There could be confusion about the idea of your relationship and the reality. Then again, you may feel inspired to do something completely selfless for a loved one. But are you motivated by pure selflessness or the need to be thought of as such? Don’t forget – planets in here are all about what is happening below the surface and As above, so below.
The Cardinal Crosses will intensify from the 12th to the 13th but this is only to highlight where change is necessary in order to grow. Please read my article on AK about this next series of Grand Crosses and in particular this one. Saturn in Scorpio does offer a lifeline here with an exact quincunx to the Sun and Eris. It is an opportunity to step back and see where you can be more self-sufficient and self-reliant by acknowledging the deep-rooted fears or patterns that control your life. Very often we follow these unconsciously but this is our opportunity to recognise them and in doing so, break free and transform. Keep it simple by giving yourself an achievable goal and lay down the foundations to reach it.
