- Love is the best reason for change
- Are you going to be a lover or a fighter this month?
- What karma are you creating right now?
So, what are you going to be this month – a lover or a fighter? Or a Warrior for Love? Venus arrives in Aries at the start of the month and we can say that she will be at her most assertive while in here. Ruled by Mars we can say that Aries energy goes against Venus’s nature. Subtlety may be thrown out the window when it comes to love. Venus in here brings out the full-on flirt. Love via action would be the best expression of Venus in here. There’s no pining away in the background involved but making your move. Of course, if we don’t become Warriors for Love we end up making war. The energy has to go somewhere but we have the power to direct it. Don’t let love become critical however especially when the Grand Earth Trine forms on the 9th. Love should not find fault and if we start to do this we will end up with results we (and others) won’t like. The same day as this Grand Earth Trine forms there is a fabulous Cradle aspect as well which can provide a transformation for us should we decide to take a different perspective as well as a double Kite which for many of us is set to provide if not exactly an antidote but relief from the Cardinal Grand Crosses of Changes. What about love? With the Sun in Taurus opposing Saturn in Scorpio its all about what we’ve failed to see and now owning the results of that.
What about the world around us?
How can we fail to see?
And now that our fathers have gone
And we’ve been left to carry on
What about the age of reason?
Mercury enters his own sign on the 7th when he arrives in Gemini. Ideas should now flow but the 11th brings a Cardinal Grand as Venus has reached Uranus in Aries.
So why can’t we be still why can’t we love each other?
Is kindness an ancient skill buried by our blindness?
And if we look behind us there’s a wind blowing in
To create the age of reason
The Moon is conjunct Mars as part of this and not only that is making a quincunx to Neptune in Pisces. It’s all about maintaining a universal perspective when it comes to the actions of others now and because Mars is retrograde and in the house of partnerships and open enemies and Neptune sits in his own house of hidden enemies as well as spiritual truth, anything clandestine is going to be revealed – especially as Mars will finally turn direct this month on the 20th. First however, we see a transformational full Moon in Scorpio which falls conjunct Saturn and makes a powerful aspect to Pluto in Capricorn. Saturn and Pluto are still in mutual reception here. Saturn rules karma and fate and Pluto rules transformation and we may need to take responsibility for co-creating karma on a collective level. And the task of creating some new and what form that takes is now up to us – and our responsibility.
From the day that we were born we’ve been heading down a track
Sometimes it’s made for good sometimes for bad
But if we look behind us there’s a wave coming down
Carrying us forward to a new age
The Sun enters Gemini and it’s time to give voice to ideas, to communicate and to connect. Travel and transport could well feature and the new Moon of the 28th could usher in new ideas around all these themes and mark the start of a new phase especially for those whose Suns sit at around 7 degrees of Gemini or Sagittarius. With three planets in here now including Gemini’s ruler it’s all about ideas whose time has come. Share yours but don’t delay as the following day Mercury moves off into Cancer. Venus now arrives in her own sign of Taurus linking us to earthly pleasures and creativity. It’s about the pure pleasure of being in nature, of a garden of earthy delights and above all – sensuality and creation. The age of reason has to be founded on love and created by passion. That’s the wave that carries us forward to the new age.
Lyrics ‘The Age of Reason’ – John Farnham.
