The new Moon in Gemini on the 28th not only marks the start of a new phase for all Gemini’s out there – I like to think of the new Moon in a sign as whispering the promise of the fresh cycle that our birthday’s bring us, but also this one could also herald new ideas and fresh ventures. It’s going to be a great time to start to plan goals – and in just a couple of weeks we will have the opportunity to refine them. It’s all about ideas and planning now rather than launching, however, so bear this in mind.
Venus enters her own sign of Taurus on the 29th and she’s all about the sensuality of the material world rather than the love of money per se. Yes, she rules our bank account and Taurus is the second sign of the zodiac and the second house in a natural chart. This is more about the experiences around money and assets than hoarding them and our relationship with our money rather than seeing it as just currency. And there’s the secret right there. Currency = current = energy. Money is energy, the current that makes the world go around or to put it another way, connects us to art, beauty, creativity, sensuality and pleasure. If your finances were a person what would they look like? What would they say to you? What needs to change?
This same day sees Mercury enter Cancer and the 30th sees the Moon arrive in her own sign bumping up the number of planets in here to three. She meets Mercury on the 30th and both send a wonderful vibe across to Venus in Taurus. Seeing that Cancer is all about nurturing expect those sensual pleasures to revolve around food and drink. The 1st sees the Moon meet up with Jupiter in here (don’t over-indulge!) and oppose Pluto in Capricorn while both square Uranus in fiery Aries. Hopefully the unexpected won’t have us reaching for the comfort food but instead bring about new ways of emotionally dealing with things. While the T-Square on this day may be a little challenging for some although it contains great potential, the Moon/Jupiter conjunction trines Saturn. Changes made now could not only have a massive effect – they could be lasting and something to build a new future vision from. As for those goals we all have – plan, plan, plan this week.
