  • Prepare for new that’s too big to be missed!
  • Enjoy the freedom that love brings
  • Don’t be content to stay behind the scenes – step into the spotlight and shine!

Almost everyone out there will breathe a sign of relief when Mercury finally turns direct again in his own sign of Gemini at the start of the month. Many people have experienced what has probably been one of the most potent retrograde periods for a long time with incidences of Mercury Madness reaching an all-time high. Travel delays and snafus, computer failures, breakdowns and equipment malfunctions as well as general miscommunications should all be cleared up or abate now. However, we have more retrogrades and directs to come so stay tuned.

A touch a magic is in the Mystic Rectangle of the 10th which seeks to put us in touch with the freedom of love in some way, shape or form. Only your heart knows what this is so pay attention. The following day the Moon moves out of Sagittarius and on into Capricorn where she encounters Pluto asking you what needs to transform in order for you to fully experience this? The full Super Moon in here the following day should make this clear. Don’t be surprised if something has to give way in order for this to happen.

Mercury enters Cancer on the 13th. In the words of Thumper: If you can’t say anything nice – don’t say anything at all. Words can hurt or heal – which is it going to be? Say it with love whatever it is and love your ideas on the 14th – the more unusual the better as a Grand Air Trine fires up creativity. How’s your tolerance level for what (or who) is different?

It’s now time to shine, to have fun, to embrace your passion in whatever form it takes, to be more creative and to step into the spotlight in some way. On the 16th Jupiter enters regal and glowing Leo offering us all a 12 month slot for taking a starring role in our own lives. Who has seen the rom-com The Holiday starring Kate Winslet and Cameron Diaz? For those of you who missed it, the premise is two chicks swap homes and lives – Kate Winslet goes to Hollywood and Cameron Diaz takes over Kate’s country cottage in Surrey. During her LA sojourn, Kate’s character (Iris) makes friends with her elderly screenwriter neighbour – Arthur played by Eli Wallach. Arthur has the following advice for Iris which applies to all of us now Jupiter has entered star-struck Leo: ‘Iris, in the movies we have leading ladies and we have the best friend. You, I can tell, are a leading lady. But for some reason you are behaving like the best friend.’ So, if you have been acting like you have a supporting role in the movie of your own life – now is the time to stop and act like the leading lady (or man). Jupiter offers this opportunity. Venus changes signs on the 18th and arrives in Cancer putting the focus on the love of family, mother and home – which includes the home country. However, don’t forget the flip side is devouring love.

Saturn moves direct again in Scorpio on the 20th – putting those restrictions back in place or marking the end of the inevitable and forms part of a Mystic Rectangle the same day. The lesson here is you can’t stop change but the unpredictability of it may lessen as Uranus now turns retrograde in Aries on the 22nd, the day the Sun enters Leo and all of us can prepare for a couple of red-letter days – the 24th which sees the Sun meet Jupiter in here and the 31st when Mercury arrives and also conjuncts the Sun and Jupiter delivering news that is too big to be missed. Stand by!

The Moon enters her own sign and joins Venus and Mercury in there and forms a Grand Water Trine with them along with the now direct Saturn in Scorpio and Neptune in Pisces putting us all in touch with what form of love we need to transform our lives. The new Moon in Leo on the 26th marks the real start of Leo’s 12 month cycle of new possibilities while Mars exits Libra on this day – a sign where his energy has not sat terribly well – and enters his ancient ruling sign of Scorpio where he is far happier. How do we shine? By embracing our true power. That’s what we need to deal with now. Mars gives us a push in the right direction while the Sun and Jupiter just want us to shine in a big way. Take the lead now – no more waiting in the wings.
