Fire and inspiration. That’s what this week is all about. Jupiter will be at its closest point to Earth on the 3rd. The planet of expansion, adventure, luck, long distance journeys and further education wants to teach us and broaden our horizons in some way. On the same day a Grand Fire Trine forms between Uranus in Aries, the Moon in Leo and the Sun in Sagittarius. This is the real ignition aspect but we must never forget that while fire trine give us that burst of energy we need to venture forth towards our goals, there is usually a deeper message behind them. Because on the same day the Sun in Sagittarius also opposes Sagittarius’s ruler Jupiter. The message here is to see your place in the grand scheme of things and to understand that far from being a meaningless cog in a vast, universal machine your presence here is vital and without you, all kinds of chains of events would never have occurred. Here is where all that fire gets tempered by Virgo’s practicality and attention to detail. While T-squares can create tension they also contain release and this one is no exception.
