A breathtaking month lies ahead of us which begins as Mercury enters his ruling sign of Gemini on the 1^st and ends with a Double Pentagram which is going to take us into the heart of our soul desires. Yes, for all of us that deep, as ye unmet need or dream will be broadcasting on a soul level to make it real or at least encourage us to take that first step towards making it so. This can even begin by simply acknowledging it exists if we have denied it for so long.

First however, Mercury enters his ruling sign of Gemini on the 1^st and will turn retrograde in here on the 19^th. It’s not just what we communicate but how which will be thrown into focus during this period. Fiery Mars also enters Gemini right before the retrograde happens sending us a ‘heads-up’ that we are going to be required to back up what we are saying with action. I should not need to remind you by now that Mercury retro in his ruling sign is bound to bring more snafus, breakdowns, delays and confusion that he is usually capable of. Therefore as usual, allow extra time when travelling and confirm everything before setting out, back-up important files and check everything – at least twice. Unless you can possibly avoid it don’t sign important contracts, make travel arrangements or buy new technology or a car. Unless of course the Mercury retro causes irreparable breakdowns, at which point replacements are in order.

The Scorpio full Moon of the 4^th will bring up deep feelings and suppressed desires – readying us for what the Pentagram has in store. Venus glows in her nurturing phase as she enters Cancer on the 7^th and connects us not just with our desire to be loved – but to be loving in return and the pleasure that can bring us. Being needed, being there for someone – and someone being there for us in turn, is an intrinsically important part of closeness and intimacy to explore now.

The 18^th sees a new Moon appear in earthly and sensual Taurus connecting us to all the pleasures to be found by being in the physical world and our relationship to money, material goods, possessions and above all, self-worth. How we interact with the material world and our relationship to money are soul issues whether we realise this or not. The Sun enters Gemini on the 21^st and with Mercury retrograde this could mean shining a light on existing ideas rather than illuminating new ones. Gemini’s themselves could be looking at a year of revival in a key area or the seeds of something planted in the past coming to fruition due to starting their birthday season with their ruler retrograde. What ideas have you had on the backburner for some time? the Sun meeting Mars in here on the 25^th will trigger a Mutable Grand Cross which features Saturn – just two days after Saturn himself opposes the Sun. There’s a grand sense of cosmic timing here – something whose time has come now and it could be that very idea you’ve been mulling over. Check within whether there is a soul call to action to do something with it on the 28^th when the Sun, Mercury and Mars all meet.

A Cardinal Grand Cross also makes a re-appearance on the 29^th and features that Venus in Cancer and asks you to act when it comes to what you have been incubating on a soul level to make this tangible in some way – even if you are challenged over doing so. The pattern is now becoming clear as the message behind these complex movements is revealed by the time we reach the Double Pentagram on the 31^st – this is your soul calling. We are all being asked to honour that desire within us, that dream which is part of our soul and our very reason for being here. Many mystical traditions hold that you dreams and desires are part of who you are and it is essential to your soul path to pursue them – something we have forgotten in the west.
