Big fat retro weather has us all looking back and measuring past choices against present results. What did we ‘buy’ into and what has been our take-out?
‘Re’ words apply during Mercury retrogrades. Re-evaluate. Realignment. Revise. Review. Recalculate. With the retrograde and planetary action concentrated in Taurus this week, this touches on what we value materially, the value we assign to these and most importantly of all – our core values. That personal and unshakeable value system which sets the benchmark of what is priceless and precious in our lives.
Expect revolutions – another ‘re’ word as the Sun and Uranus collide in Taurus on the 9th. Uranus brings shocks and surprises. And often turns things upside down. Along with the Sun, what it is set to tell us is whether or not something has been or is ‘worth it’ – or whether it has been over-valued by us and simply doesn’t deserve the price ticket we assigned to it.
We may see this reflected in the stock market as anything over-valued goes through an adjustment. We could see this in the physical world as in the environment as we count the cost of putting profits before the planet.
In our own lives, we may be looking at the returns on what we have ‘bought into’ personally. And the true price ticket of this. The 12th-13th sees retroactive Mercury angle to Saturn in Pisces and Venus in Cancer. If your value system has led you to smart, sustaining choices in terms of what you have invested in – in your relationships, your talents, your priorities, many of you will be looking at a ka-ka-ka-ching moment and a new kind of rich feeling that money simply can’t buy.
Taurus rules all the sensual delights of the material world. And tells us that enjoying these are part of our human experience. There’s nothing wrong with them. We only get into trouble when we begin to value money and possessions over what really matters. Venus’s divine trine to Saturn also on the 13th shows us very clearly if our personal values are based on spiritual ones. Venus the ruler of Taurus rules love and money. It also rules balance. Saturn rules accounting and in Pisces the sign of higher love and truth, this is a reset or reckoning – more ‘re’ words.
If we have made the wrong investments – perhaps even investing our love and trust in the wrong people as well as the wrong value system, this week allows us to make smarter choices for our future. We’ll all see quite clearly whether we have a big dividend coming our way and reinvesting in our beauty, truth, talents and what we love is oh-so-worth-it.
